Forget what you've always liked for a second. What sounds good lately? What do you keep choosing, noticing, reaching for, replaying, wearing, eating, or watching?
no need to make it useful
Maybe you can't even explain exactly what feels different.
♡ You're still here.
♡ Still showing up.
♡ Still doing the things that need to be done.
But somewhere between everything you're carrying and everyone
who needs something from you...
Maybe it sounds a little like this ↓
Not one huge thing. Just little thoughts that keep showing up often enough that you start wondering where you went.
I don't know what I like anymore.
Everything annoys me.
Things I used to think were fun overstimulate me now.
I don't even know what I would do with an entire day to myself.
I barely recognize the person staring back at me.
I have a million balls in the air and somehow feel like I'm dropping every one.
And somehow it still feels like I'm letting everyone down.
Maybe there has just been so much taking up space that it has gotten harder to hear yourself underneath all of it.
You don't usually wake up one morning and suddenly lose yourself.
It happens in smaller pieces.
You become the person who remembers the appointments. Answers the texts. Notices what everyone needs. Keeps things moving. Adjusts. Pushes through. Starts over. Holds it together.
And somewhere in all of that, your own preferences, energy, attention, wants, and needs can get harder to hear—but they don't necessarily stop existing.
Sometimes it's not even everything you're doing.
It's everything you're trying not to forget—the appointment, the unanswered text, what's for dinner, the thing you forgot yesterday, the thing you're already worried you'll forget tomorrow.
Even when you're doing one thing, part of your brain is somewhere else.
Parent. Partner. Employee. Friend. Caregiver. Problem-solver. Peacekeeper.
Some of those roles may be parts of your life you deeply love. But when so much of your energy goes toward what everyone else needs, one question can get surprisingly hard to answer:
What do I actually want?
The noise. The plans. The questions. The touching. The talking. Even things you normally enjoy can start feeling like one more thing asking something from you.
It doesn't necessarily mean you stopped liking them.
Sometimes there just isn't enough room left to enjoy them.
You can get really good at getting through the day.
Wake up. Remember. Work. Drive. Answer. Solve. Feed people. Find the missing thing. Scroll. Sleep. Repeat.
Then somehow you're looking at a picture from six months ago thinking—
Wait. That already happened?
WHAT'S TAKING UP THE ROOM LATELY?
Just notice what's been asking for pieces of your attention lately. Pick whatever feels true. You can choose more than one.
No pressure. Start with whatever jumps out first.
Look at what has been asking for a piece of your attention.
Things can matter to you and still take something out of you.
Not forever. Just today.
Not with fixing it. Just notice what has been asking from you lately.
Is it taking your time, attention, energy—or some combination?
Is there anything about it you've been telling yourself shouldn't bother you?
What would make it 10% lighter—not solved, just lighter?
You don't have to fix all of this today.
Sometimes everything has been loud for so long that it's hard to tell where one thing ends and another begins.
You don't need an answer today.
We're just noticing what's here.
Some pieces of you are still here.
Some have changed.
Some you're still figuring out.
But you don't have to go backward to find yourself.
♡
WHERE TO NEXT?
Go wherever feels useful. You can always come back.
Get started today before this once in a lifetime opportunity expires.
