Hi! I'm Lindsey! Â
A mom of 4 wildlings and self-proclaimedÂ
Scatter Brain
I’ve lived through the messiness, challenges, and unexpected beauty of ADHD and mental health struggles. Scatter Brain is more than a project or random site on the internet —it’s a love letter to anyone who’s ever felt "too much" or "not enough."
Oh, and did I mention? I’m also the unapologetic queen of the Blanket Cave—a cozy sanctuary for recharging, regrouping, and embracing the art of the pause. Around here, we believe that rest isn’t just okay—it’s revolutionary. So, let’s create a space where you and your beautifully wired brain can thrive andÂ
 rewrite that narrative together
THE JOURNEY TO SCATTER BRAIN
For years, I thought I was broken. Every impulsive decision, every forgotten task, every moment of overwhelm felt like proof that I just couldn’t get it together. Anxiety, perfectionism, and people-pleasing became my constant companions—an exhausting trifecta fueled by undiagnosed ADHD.
I bent over backward trying to make everyone happy, convinced that if I could just get it right, I’d finally feel like enough. SPOILER ALERT: It never worked. Instead, I lost myself in the process, mistaking my worth for how well I could meet everyone else’s expectations
BUT THEN CAME MY LIGHTBULB MOMENT-
I was not broken... I was just
wired differently

Fast forward to now, and I’m not just navigating my own ADHD—I’m helping my kids navigate theirs. Watching my daughter face the same challenges I once thought were personal failures has been eye-opening and motivating.
I’m on a mission to create resources that help kids, parents, and even teachers see ADHD for what it is: not a flaw, but a unique way of being. Together, we can turn shame into self-acceptance and struggles into strategies for success.
I believe kids with ADHD
are rockstars
and with the right support,
they WILLÂ thrive.
